I currently work a restaurant job where I have to fight to get over thirty hours a week at $8/hr. My paycheck is a joke. I'm twenty, in school, and renting the garage apartment at my parents' for $200/mo. So with that said, I'm in the perfect position to take the risks of quitting my job and pursuing my entrepreneurial nature by opening a business that would provide PC technical assistance of every kind.
I realize that the first thing I need to do is secure the name of my company. But I know the process must be more complicated than it sounds, and I don't really know where to start. I know I'll need to obtain a sales tax permit, but I don't know what else. And I also won't know how to declare my company when they ask.
These are the things I'm needing a bit of guidance in, so any input you have would be greatly appreciated.
