About 5 years ago I hired a young woman right out of college. Since 2004 this go-getter has literally become the face of the company in almost every way. To make a long story short, since her arrival, revenues have grown immensely. She is the whole package. She is beautiful, intelligent and has a winning personality with all the skills. Now she has an offer from a much larger company. I am very concerned about what effect her departure would have on my company.
She is so important that I have even considered a restructure that would essentially give her 51-percent control. Am I overreacting? I need some unbiased input about what I should be considering. Thank-you for any suggestions.
