My car was at a body shop for 3 months when i took it their it had more then plenty of power when i laid on it, well when i picked it up the first thing it did was when i started it and gave it gas it would stay at idle and not rev up even when floored also bade the backfireing noises.
after it warmed up it would rev up and ran all the way home good. but on the highway i dropped a gear and floored it and it sat at 3000rpm and didn't go nowhere at all.
i been driving it all day today i changed the spark plugs and wires but not cap n rotor, It runs good but when i shift when driving it soft i hear small back fire from the intake when i shift or when i punch the gas and let off.
What could be wrong? it dont feel like miss fires feels more like its not getting enough fuel but its getting plenty fuel, i put fresh full tank in it, the fuel pressure went up when i floored it but didn't rev up so im thinking its ignition problem.
anyone have a clue whats going on?
