ok so the other night i dropped my phone (first time in 7 months since i've had it! lol) and it has a few noticable scratches on the front. i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get an original black housing for the SLVR. not a phone cover or case but the housing that it comes with. i tried ebay but it only gives me results for the SLVR l7 for cingular...etc. so if anyone knows a site where i could purchase one that would be great! :D
 
how can it fit? the side layout is different, the keypad is different, the phones are different thicknesses heights and widths. if the l7 was the bigger of the two i'd say maybe, but how are you going to fit the bigger l7c inside the smaller l7 housing?
 
well it worked for my sister when she bough it...... you right the keypad is different so thats why she uses the same original one

doesnt matter how thick the phone is, because all you need is the front and back
 
well im not sure which one she bough but it fits perfect.....

but there are no l7c housings on ebay or amazon

so you might have to go to other websites, i recommend japaneses sites

better price and better products

but make sure the housing is metal, or else the paint will come off really easy
 
ya i don't think the l7 housings work on the l7 housings. Because of the memory stick on the l7 is different and the camera is shaped different. L7 isnt a square like verizons. I wish i could find some good l7c housings though
 
no she took of the housing since the paint was comming off...... but i do have the housing with me since i painted it silver

only difference is that it has the Memory stick thing on the side and it also fits really tight to it but you cant even tell.... but thats it but other than that it looks the same.

want some pics??
 
BS. it is not possible. they didn't make the l7c housing bigger just because. it is bigger because the internals are bigger and will not fit in the smaller housing. and i did just look at the pictures too of the l7, the camera is a different shape as well
 
so did we ever figure out if the l7 housing, just the faceplates fit on the l7c? i have heard yes and no...any real answers? i would like some pics too
 
Yea the one and only answer is to buy the housing for YOUR phone, NOT a similar model. But the EXACT phone you own. The dimensions are diferent, the flash slot, or lack of is diferent aswell.
