Slurp Usenet binaries with URD

No one talks much about Usenet these days, but people are still posting plenty of stuff there, including a large volume of binary files

URD is an excellent open-source binary newsreader that has languished for years largely unknown, even among non-Windows users. Maybe it's kind of an odd coincidence that within days after I mentioned URD in this Linux news reader thread, the usenet information site Binaries4all.NL added URD to their recommended list of usenet clients, and then SourceForge featured an interview with URD'S developer.

urd is sinfully ugly.

functionally its pretty nice though.

cant get over the way it looks.

ill stick with newsleech+sabnzb

If you don't mind setting up a LINUX SERVER to do HALF of what NewsRover can do... then yea, it's ok.
