I bought a brand new 2010 Mazda 6 S Grand Touring (V6) and drove perfectly off the lot. After about 1000 miles I lost about 5 miles per gallon, the first two gears are very sluggish (the car lurches through both gears), when I coast, the gears slip around no matter what speed, and when I gun it to enter the freeway, it dances through three different rpm rates before it finally settles down. At times it almost feels like I'm dragging something or it's chocking. Now has 4000 miles. Dealerships are giving me the runaround of course. They're telling me the car is still "learning" to my driving style. Any thoughts?
