I have a 2004 with 78K miles. Its been having trouble starting. I took to AutoZone for a diagnostics test & it showed the crankshaft sensor. I brought it to Mazda dealership & they said it was the starter & wanted $800 to replace. So I brought to my mechanic & he can't figure out whats wrong, the starter is good and he said the sensor would not let it start at all if it went out.
