Slider-remix or motoE815

my contract with alltel ends tuesday and im getting a new phone as a bday prensent my parents will pay for the phone
so would i be better off getting the slider remix which comes with the headpones/USB cable/software or getting a E815 and buying the other stuff for myself?
i live in middle of Nebraska and travel 150 miles to school so the no analog on the E815 kinda worries me since there is alot of remote locations round here and such

ive heard lots of good and bad things about both phones but still dont know which to get im leaning toward the slider because of several reasons
.its cooler looking also less people have it
.analog can help when u live in mid of nowhere
.mp3 function seems to be easier to use and better over all in the slider

my concerns about slider are basically that the first one had so many problems
somepeople have said that the screen is very resilient but i dont know exactly how sturdy it is or isnt
 
if you need a tri mode for analog get a v710 off ebay. I know there older but they are just like the e815. The motorolas get great rf I dont know about the remix. Best to go look at them at the store and see for yourself.
 
actually one of our dealers still sells 710's but the E815 is supposed to be an upgraded version of that because apparently the 710's had a lot of software quirks ive played with demo phones of both and im still not sure i like the slider better and it seems to be more of what im looking for im just wondering how well itll hold out so i think ill get it and once the warrenty runs out ill probly buy into their rip-off insurance b/s
 
I know the v710 is tri mode means it gets analog and yeah the e815 is a upgrade to it i know the sliders that we had have alot of people said they wernt too good.
 
yea the chick i took to prom last year had the original slider after like a year she was trying to break it to get a new phone but i'm not sure if the remix is the same it seems A LOT better than the old slider..... reading in the kyocera part pointed out somemore points but o well
ill probly still just get the slider since hardly ne1 has them and i like to be orignial as possible
