Sleepless In Nova Scotia

Alright, I am dealing with the nightly panic attacks. Bout all I could do at this point is ride the wave through with breathing technique until my next doctor's appt. on the 10th. Thing is I'm only getting bout 3-4 hours of sleep a night. My overtiredness is exasperating some minor panic attacks during the day while I'm at work. Seems that whenever I close my eyes I get that feeling of I'm falling into a void, can't seem to get over it. Any ideas from my fellow anxiety sufferers of how to get to sleep outside of the meRAB? Oh and the cognitive therapy I started today was great. The tensing of the muscles followed by the relaxtion of those same muscles seemed to work better for me than the breathing technique I have been using.
