I would like a sleepaway camp (preferably for the whole summer) where I can take my horse with me. It would be nice if it was for advanced riders who are looking to improve showing skills. I ride english (english pleasure and only a little jumping) and western (not ranch work although I wouldnt mind going to a camp for that and trail riding). I show on the APHA circit and have a four year old I'm training. I really would love to go away with him for a whole summer to a camp. In the US please. If it was around NJ like NY/Pensilvania/Virginia that would be amazing... Thanks for all your help!
I understand what your saying aboout learning to ride different horses, but I've been training horses no one believed could ever be broken since I was 6 and started my trainers mini. Needless to say, I've been waiting a long time to be able to stop riding other horses and have my own. I train ponies for my trainer on the side and the reason I want to go away for a summer with my horse is so that I can finally just be with MY horse. One that I can finally call my own. Just thought zi'd give you morre insight into what I'm thinking.
