Okay ive been experiencing sleep paralysis for years it seems to get worse each time anyone who has experienced these symptoms can relate- asleep but totally paralyzed with your eyes opened hearing weird noises, voices,or feeling as if someone or something which in my case is a dark figure at the edge of my bed or beside it. I can't move but I can see and hear what I believe is my dream being played out right in front of me. I usually get this weird feeling in my head before bed and go into constant worry because I know that night I will have sleep paralysis. I asked my psychologist and it seems like he knew of cases from other patients but told me not to worry because I have anxiety anyways. It seems like any doctor I would ask pretty much gave me no straight answer, cure, how to cope with it, and also the vibe of "let's not go there." If anyone else has this please share experiences or ways to cope because this is a horrifying experience. My fiance now when she sees me breathing heavy almost like a panic attack during my sleep or me tapping aggressively on the bed because I can only move a little bit of my hand wakes me up immediately so I won't start the horrifyingly scary experience. No I'm not demon possessed but there is always a state of major peril followed by disturbing sounds and a dark figure. Please any help to cope or experiences please share!!! This is serious no I don't need an exorcism I'm not Catholic!!! Thanks.
