Sleep debt/deprivation

During the past semester (from January to the end of May) I slept about 6 hours per night, and considered myself lucky to get 7. Now that the semester is over (and I'm taking summer courses), I feel perpetually sleepy. I could probably sleep for 15 hours straight.

Last night I slept over 8 hours for the first time in months. I woke up around 10 and it is now 11:40, yet if I were to go lie down on my bed right now, I would fall back asleep. Since school ended, I am sleeping at least 8 hours/night (no longer depriving myself). Yet, I am still tired.

I was told this phenomenon is called sleep debt. How do I fix this? I can't sleep for a lot of hours because I still have summer courses and need to study. Is there another way to fix this? Thanks in advance for your help.
