I'm considering trying the Cycle Adjustment Technique (CAT) for lucid dreaming since I have a fairly regular sleep cycle - I usually go to bed at ten o'clock and wake up at about six a.m (eight hours of sleep a night). However, this would cut my sleep down to 6.5 hours, and I'm concerned that this loss of sleep would affect my performance at school. I'm starting advanced courses for my HSC this year and need to perform well in all lectures and tests. This is obviously a priority.
Can I perform this technique without sacrificing my mental energy, or is it best that I avoid it altogether?
