sleep caused by speed

Dear sir/madame,

I do not have a problem as such, it is more of an interesting reaction of my body.

I wonder why I am sleepy whilst driving in a car (as a co-driver). Even more interesting is that the higher the speed, the harder it is for me to keep my eyes open.

I'm one who wants to nap a soon as the car is on the highway! It's fairly common as the rocking motion of the car and the monotony of a long drive serve to make you drowsy.
