my question at the bottom)? I'm from Yugoslavia, born in 1990. It's still "Yugoslavia" as far as I'm concerned. But I moved to the US when I was 10. So I don't know much of any good authors (or their books) from the old Yugoslavia, and Balkans in general and Russia. My dad was very much into those books. He knows alot of them. I'd like to get closer to my dad and speak to him about his interests, and books from Slavic and other Balkan cultures is one of his interests. I looked around the internet and found nothing.

So anyone out there, if you know of some famous authors (and their books) that come from Russia, Old Yugoslavia, or the Balkans in general... can ya help me out?
