Hi,
does have anybody realy working solution for sl45 batery calibration.
I try fiew .blk with siemens sensor tool, not working.

I don't think that U need 2 different settings for the 1000mAh batteryes and 540mAh. I am using the original settings whith a non origilan 900mAh battery and it works perfect..I get almost 6 hours of mp3 player.. and about 4 days of standby...I think that if the battery wiwld have been original.. the standby and mp3 times would have been longer.. so there is one setting for each phone.. and it is not that compatible from one phone to another

With 1000mAh an average 1 week standby and 1 hour mp3 with an single 3 hour charging.
I had big differences between batteries with other blk-s.
Sometimes it shows 3/4 and then turns off without a "low battery signal" in five hours for example.
A bad blk can do f***ing wrong telephone work.
I'm hungarian.
Send me your blk and I send mine!
Perhaps we can help each other!

It is impossible to have 1week of standby and just 1hour of mp3 (because if U read the manual U will C that 30minutes of mp3 takes out about 30 hours of standby) and I use the original blk settings.. no need to send them to U because U 2 have the original 540mAh blk settings

I think batery calibration values must be individual for each phone, and don't care batery capacity. If blk work fine on your phone, it just nearly values.

Why did you wrote, that is so weak or too much?
(1 week stanby and 1 hour mp3)
I don't want to make long discussion with you.
I you ask a patcher or an old member he will say the same like me about blk-s!

U boys, My collection contains almost 15 blk... and I've 3 prefered profiles for Sensor Tool too, 2 for 540 mAh and 1 for 1000 mAh. Can u send me yours GOOD BLK to test please? Then I'll be able to put them on my web site for all of members in my Italian forum... Thx all.

modrone.. may i have your .blk settings for 540mAh batteries.. since i upgrade my sl45(v43) to become sl45i (v56) my battery is so weak that it can't stay even for twelve hours.. please send me the battery calibration.. i dunno what to do now..

Hi there.
I recently bought 1000mAh Li-Polymer battery, and it works quite fine with default settings (for 650mAh). I'm saying "quite fine", because I am shure it can work better. If anybody has *.blk file for 1000mAh Li-Polymer battery, please send it to [email protected]
I would be very greatefull...

Hi
I recieved fiew *blk files for 1000 mAh battery and they won't work as they should. Each phone needs different values in Sensor Tool.

I suggest we should shear our values:
here's mine:

SpgY03V = 8120
SpgX0 = 4202
SpgY04V = 64750

(I think these values are most important for battery "livelity" )

I would appreciate other values for 1000 li-pol batteries.
What is the values range for VBattDSP1 and VBattDSP2?
What values did you get with micrometer on VBatt1 and VBatt2?
SHare info!

My original blk values R :

SpgY03V = 4185
SpgX0 = 4200
SpgY04V = 63563

These setting were for 540 mah battery ann now I am using a non original 900mAh battery and I get about 6 7 hours of mp3 or 4 days of standby..(btw the light setting is at it's maximum, and fast search was activated, and my gsm coverage is not so perfect in my home)
I don't thik that we need diferent blk settings for different types of batteryes. because the sl45 has hardware sensors and the software translates those into your battery icon and all batteryes charge up to 4.2 V and the phone turns off at about 3.56 V the only difference betwen batterys is that the 1000mAh lasts longer than the 540hAm one but the battery sensor is the same.. the only thing I could think about modifying the blk settings is to make the battery charge at more than 4.2 V and that will lead to a shorter battery life.. or distruction .. good luck.. an dif anybody has something new to add here please do.. maybe we will find out more info about this .

They both charge up to the same voltage 4.2 V max.. any overcharge may distroy the battery.. I on't know exactly the reason why the 640mAh one charges in two hours and the 1000mAh charges in about 3 hours... maibe it has something to do whith the mAh... it takes longer to charge because it takes longer to discharge, who knows something more about this please post.

Batt display doesn't matter; this is all about charging voltage and capacity: Li-Ion and Li-Poly batteries don't like overcharging, they die very soon, that's why manufacturers set up the phone in a way that the battery is a but undercharged all the time - it doesn't harm, only standby reduces.
Therefore manufacturers set up standard values; they are unique for the specific phone since their ADC has to be calibrated individually. But they calibrate it with fixed voltage regardless of the used battery type.
Theoretically each battery also could require an own sensor setting. I don't mean it because of the capacity, just because it depends on the actual manufacturer/batch what charging values are ideal for the specific battery.
And here is the point why I'm writing this: using another phones values can damage your battery, result shorter battery life - it's just a roulette what you are playing when uploading another phones settings. If you win - you will have more standby, but this doesn't mean that on a third phone the same settings will work. And it can result that the phone will work allight with your original battery, but another one can be damaged -it's just a matter of luck.

I think blk values "are unique for the specific phone since their ADC has to be calibrated individually". "the 640mAh one charges in two hours and the 1000mAh charges in about 3 hours" it is because charging curent is constant, if batery capacity is bigger, then charging time will be longer.

sory my english

Well how do we calibrate the phone whithout loading another person's blk settings?? what does each value mean?(I mean all of the boxes that
R filled whith numbers int the sensor tool??)

@doggyfreestart

"Manufacturers set up in a way that the battery is a but undercharged all the time - it doesn't harm, only standby reduces."

So youre trying to tell me that the time of charging for 1000mAh is the same as for 650mAh, right?

Well does anybody know how to calibrate the phone's sensor settings? I mean I know whith sensortool1.3 but what to write in those boxes? how do we find out the right values? for eachs box?????? there R 12 of them I think.

Still no news about how does the battery senzor works and how to calibrate-it? Why dosen't nobody know nothing about this? There were guys around here that said that they know the sl45 platform and some things are imposible
because of hw limitations..well if they know the sl45 hw so good why don't they post something about senzor calibration??? (no disrespect ment for u guys but my phone is driving me crazy and I don't wand to go to a authorised siemens service because I don't know one here in Romania)

Hi,
I'm newbie, i have problem with my SL42, start normal, i can see the batrey indicator, but that's always dead itself a moment, when i readflash with UFS, there firmware correct for SL42 but parameter batrey is SL45, is a problem with main flash file with batt parameter? please give solution
Best Regard
