Hello Brother,
Thanks for your help, this is what happened:

I have a ******* 16MB MultiMedia Card, I installed the DataExchange software and connected to the phone, but i shows O bytes storage space! (I am using the regular data cable, not the cradle)..I tought the problem was trying to connect via the cable and not using the cradle, but i checked the access to the MMC via phone menu surf-fun/card explorer and the display shows "please insert Multi Media Card"..

I tried further solutions that doesn

I forgot to mention...

I was not jerking to use SL45i Flash File, the problem is I can never use Winswup files, alwais get error "cannot connect to mobile with bootstraploader" trying to power manually or autopower!!

I have SL45 V23 with .xbi extension, but i cannot use it with winswup!!..the same when i use winswup autoflashers...

I know these are old phones for you, but here they are almost new!!

There is only one language pack in each version os SL45, the rest of the languages are loaded from MMC. If the MMC is not working ok, format it and install the default MMC contents, you can find them at siemens support page.

you cannot use mmc..i have an idea but im not sure. You have to try. I got a program called siemens language editor. In its features there is a option "compile lgpack to flash file" It loads language to flash file. But i dunno can you add spanish language to your firmware.

anyway if it doesnt work i dunno the where you can get lg4 firmware.

upps i forget.open this program and click "decompile lgpack from flash"
there choose spanish.lng file that i sent you and save as a.lgp for exmpl.
after that click "compile lgpack to flash file" and chose a.lgp and save it into your firmware.bin

pls tell me it works or not

Ok, i am testing..

I used the "decompile" function with the lang pack you posted, then used the "compile" function, selected the resulting .lgp file and then the .bin file i got reading the SL45 i already have..the resulting file is a 32KB file!...

The second experiment i am trying is, i decompiled a C45 lg3 .FLS file i have (now i am really jerking off!!) and i compiled it to the same .bin file i extracted from the phone..it says the file exceeded the size.etc. etc. the resulting is a useless 3,072 KB .bin file...

Now i am trying to compile the lang pack in to the V56 .FLS file i downloaded....but i am losing the hope

sorry without mmc i cannot help you.maybe you have to create a thread like
"sl45 slick v56 lg4 needed"
i dint see any firmware contains lg4 on the web...

Hello,

You can install any language pack without MMC. For this purpose you need vklay (I use version 2.7), desired language file (lng) (in your case spanish.lng), and siemens language editor (I use version 1.4). You should first decompile language file in lng format into lgp format by using siemens language editor. You should check the boxes named as "Save Language Signatures in .lgp" and "String numbers in hex". After decompiling the file into lgp, you should compile the resulting file into bin format. The resulting bin file can be loaded into the phone by using vklay. For this purpose, open the bin file in vklay and write this file directly into the phone (Write Memory button under Flasher folder). Before writing the bin file into the phone memory you should define where the desired bin file will be written. This is the critical part of the procedure. You should write the file from address 4E4000.

Use all these info at your own risk. It should work but I have experienced some problems whenever I employed this procedure in order to install language pack into the phone.

I hope this procedure help you,

Naransula

Dear Sir,

I am following you explanation step by step, i Try with the SL45 Turn ON, at 115K and 56K, then with SL45 Bootcore Bug, in both scenarios the result is the same, "power on.." and then "phone connected..sendind boots"..i leave the program several minutes in the multiple configurations i wrote above...but nothing happens!..

I am using Siemens Lang Edit V1.3 and Vklay 2.7.

I appreciate feedback..

You should choose "SL45" option. There is no prefix or suffix. You should turn off the phone before you try to connect. If you want to install the bin file while the phone is turned on, you should install the set of patches by mamaich. Please check the following link for the knowledge about how to use vklay:
