Just downloaded skype to my ppc6700 and it rocks. I like it alot. Just tested it out calling my friend. Then i looked at the skype website and you can get unlimited calling to any phone in the us or canada for $29.99. So if you had skype on your phone and were near a wifi hotspot and paid the $30 you could call anyone from your phone if you were near a hotspot. Which are not that hard to find nowadays. so would this be something worth doing?

yeah you can download skype for free and use it for comp to comp calling. I AM TALKING ABOUT when you leave your home calling area or your covered cricket areas. Like when you out far or somewhere where there is no coverage but wifi or internet. im just saying. I use skype for comp to comp calling.

well than it is a good deal if you a big traveler..... most places i go have cricket coverage and if not than activate my pay as you go phone

true just a suggestion lol. I ahve a back up pre paid too, tho i think a JUMP pre paid is the best.

For here anyway, i have a virgin mobile, a t-mobile and a trac phone prepaid.
