Right now, I'm my routine is: wet face, use Cetaphil Oily skin cleanser, dry face, use Panoxyl Aquagel BP 5%, wait 5 min to absorb, then Complex 15 daily face cream. I'll finish the routine and the area I was treating will be red, feel burnt, feel overly sensitive and almost hot. This usually happens about once or twice a week or if I take a shower at night and do my routine afterwarRAB. Is it the products? They are all designed for sensitive skin. Water too hot? Might I be rubbing too hard or using too much BP?

Also, does anyone know of a BP that doesn't dry so much? Most of the time, I have to really load on the cream to stop my face from peeling.

it may be the peeling effect, or may be the product is too sensitive for your skin.

my skin is super sensitive too, even when the product mentioned it's for sensitive skin, i still have redness. that's why i would stop using the usual routine product and switch to use pure aloe vera gel or other soothing cream for a day or two whenever i notice my skin is feeling hot and reddish.

I think the burning comes with the 5% BP. 5% is quite strong. You can switch to 2.5% - it's just as effective but much less harsh on the skin. Neutrogena has a spot treatment cream with 2.5% BP. Check it out.
