skateboarding a good sport???/?

ok first man, to save you from embarrisment, its not alleys its called Ollie
ok man, you wanna believe in yourself, i can do so many tricks now, dude
don't be afraid of doing tricks, you'll supprise yourself, your uncle seems awesome man,
ok so the wheels i would sugest spitfire, um a good poping board is zero and enjoi
ummm trucks? grendade(i spelled it wrong i think) or venture dude keep workin and remember what i said.

haha and i surf skate and bmx, dude take it from me.
 
i would like to learn how to skate board but none of my friends do and i pretty much will have to solo this. i have no board i used to skate board but that was when i was little and i dont even remember no more and i could only do alleys. is this a good sport we dont have much skate parks down her but i can practice outside my house until i do know how to ride good then go down to the park and skate their. and what kind of equipment should i be looking for like what kind of board? i only had speed demon bearings and wheels and a make shift board which my uncle made ( it was a real skate board just made by my uncle )
