There is so much extra information that is needed to even try to help. Are these Sirius radio's portable units? Are they hard wired, or just plugged into a cigarette lighter outlet? Are there any FM direct adapters being used to increase your signal? When you say the unit is shorting out, is the unit itself losing power and turning on and off, or is it just the satellite signal that is cutting in and out?
