SIP and google voice on E series

I have SIPgate and googlevoice setup and it forwards the calls to my phone via sip and gsm

I was wondering if i could prioritize one over the other cause if my google voice number is called, gv will forward it t both sip and gsm making my phone act ecstatically
 
What is your goal? You can forward to both SIP and cellular but your phone can only notify you of one type. If you want SIP to ring by default then you need to go into the SIP profile and set to default service. But keep in mind it won't ring your cellular line and there's no way to choose which service to answer with. At least now with my set up with Google Voice and Gizmo.
 
I want sip to ring if its from google voice but when i'm not around wifi ie no sip i'd still like for gsm so ring from gv
 
Set the SIP service up as the default but make sure it is set to use your WiFi connection so that it doesn't connect via your cellular connection when you're away from WiFi. From there it should operate as you want.
 
i have it set as internet calls for default and have it set to home wifi and yet i get calls routed to gsm when i call the gv number

when i call using gv and set it to go to sip the sip calls my phone first.

and you could use SIP over cellular? i only have edge i'm on t-mobile
 
I have gotten calls to go through over AT&T's 3G service to answering machines for testing but I've never really tried a call to another person.

It might be different on the E66, will have to check settings on my E71 which should be very similar. On the E72 I go into the Gizmo SIP profile and set service as default. GV is set up to forward to both Gizmo and cellular number but depending on if I have Gizmo set as default and enabled depends on which service rings when GV is called.
 
Also keep in mind that Google Voice actually has an option to send to Gizmo. Forwarding to another SIP service might be a bit buggy? Hopefully someone else can offer help as well.
 
i guess im stuck with missed calls thanks, for the help if it works on your e71 let me know, it might be a setting on the phone
