hi im in high school, and i am joining a group called Spirit Borne so basically you get 400 hours by the end of the year for all the practices and performances. since all we do is sing christian music and dance and do performances. then the money raised goes to some charities. but we do have to work hard on memorizing the songs and dances... :S
im not really sure its benefitting the community tho... so should i still do it?
what i am worried about is that universities might not like seeing it on my application do u think universities would prefer if i had lets say 200 hours volunteering at animal shelters and food banks???
and also, should i volunteer or get a job? money isnt a problem i just need to afford things of my own cuz i feel guilty spending my parents money but i heard universities prefer if u volunteer
