Hello
I am really new to sewing and I recently purchased a Singer 1507. I have been following the instruction manual and went to thread the machine and discovered that my needle arm won't position correctly so that the needle goes through the hole to the lower bobbin. The needle also hits the plate and foot. The arm is off to one side and seems to spring back to the side when I try to move it to the centre with my finger. Ive tried changing the the pattern knob and moving the bobbin winder back and forth.
Please help!!
