Lately with all the anti-Catholic remarks basically labeling all priests as possible rapists because they took a vow of celibacy... I started to wonder just when exactly people started claiming the molestation of kids had anything whatsoever to do with the perpetrator not having sex. We all hear that rape has nothing to do with sex, but it's about power and control- basically rapists are just completely mental, and even if they had a regular sexual outlet they would still rape because they are that crazy.
So why all of a sudden do people claim sex abuse in the Catholic Church is due to its priests being celibate?
