Let me put it in a way even the dumbest con can understand: When you give tax breaks to the rich, more money is "given them". More money in the economy= bigger economy. Bigger=/=Better. When the rich get their tax breaks, then the rich get the biggest benefit.

The answer? Strict Progressive Tax.

So you believe that when you take a lot of money away from the people in America that create the jobs and turn it over to the government, that it makes the economy better? With all that capital that could be used to rebuild American infrastructure, create economic growth and millions of jobs is taken by the government to re-distribute to people that are basically parasites living off of the labor of others. On top of that you have the trial lawyers trying to sue every company into oblivion, high taxes, so many government regulations that companies can hardly afford to stay in business and the public employee unions living bankrupting every level of government. Then you blame corporate greed for outsourcing American jobs.
 
You would have to ask Obama. That's the excuse he gives when trying to justify why unemployment went up 2 points after his $800 billion stimulus. "It takes time to work down to that level"
 
It would be great if those "rich" politicians that evaded paying taxes, like Secy. of the Treasury Geithner, and John "Heinz" Kerry, among others, would be required to follow the law like everyone else. And don't forget, if people don't buy anything, and nothing goes into the economy, nothing comes out. When you talk about "the rich", you'll find a good majority of them disguised as politicians in Washington.
 
The same reason why left wingers believe in Keynesian economics. Political ideologues tend to believe in an economic system religiously, no matter how often it fails. We seriously need to make a new system.

I should probably turn my monitor upside down so that all incoming thumbs downs from both sides look like thumbs ups.
