business as equal to that as peopl? is there any way to sue the federal government to impose a stricter fine for Slander and Libel, so that it will BE a penalty for business, as it is for people, rather than a minor expense, for businesses to lie (EG,. commercials, Every movie advertised as the #1 of the year, the name of "Advanced Auto Parts" as the company has little to nothing that is more advanced than others, FOX news stating a FEW things about a news topic, then give nothing but opinion, etc...)?IF IT'S IN THE FINE PRINT WOULDN'T IT BE PRUDENT TO SUE COMPANIES TO SUPPLY THE MAGNIFYING GLASS AND THE LEGAL DICTIONARY TO READ AND INTERPRET IT?
Please, if you have relatives as lawyers or judges, ask them about this. I've written one senator to see about imposing a 30% fine of income of what is lied about, and negotiate to no less than 20% of the income from the item lied about.
Amendment 9 or 10 would justify actions of such, wouldn't it? How would we, as a people go about it effectively?
PLEASE, if you can't take a question as a whole, and feel the need to chop it into pieces, and criticize 1 piece, the problem isn't the question, is it?
In the 1980's the Federal courts stated how businesses have equal rights, as that as an ordinary citizen. It's agreed, that slander and libel torts should be sufficient, but aren't, in that the meager fine isn't suitable to send a judicial message as the company earns billions. Accounting records prove how fines as such are marked as expenses of operation.
Please refer me to the names of the proper textbooks for ACCURATE legal research. That within the school of hard knocks is much better education than what "education systems" offer.
