under the table to protest? Like if you give an illegal $10 an hour under the table, it's equivalent to 14 or $15 dollars and hour with taxes taken out, so with construction, paying them $12-$13 an hour is almost equivalent to $20 an hour with taxes! No wonder they can afford to send money back home AND buy houses here.
So to protest, why don't we all do sides jobs for money under the table?
my proof is that my roommate told me today that his uncle is giving him $500 bucks for the week. Now they are both legal, but it's just that his uncle is only paying him $10 an hour, but it's in straight cash, and he brings home what I do a week, but I make more an hour.
So that got me to thinkin if people are paying illegals the same way, then well, we should start doing the same thing.
