Sims 3 - Partnership with a business?

I bought a partnership with the bookstore and hospital and after I did I got to collect $7000 from hospital and $1000 from bookstore. That was great. It has been two weeks (in the game) and I have not been able to collect again?

Is this suppose to be every week I can collect? Or what?
