Sims 3 - Not able to access the sims 3 store while playing the game.?

While I am playing The Sims 3, i try to access the store, in build mode, but whenever i do it doesn't fully load, instead it quits the whole game automatically. when i didn't choose to quit the game.

Please help! i want to be able to get my items i have bought from the store.
