Sims 3 - going back to a previously saved game.?

I opened Sims 3 today and tried to Split a household, merging one of the Sims with a different household. I thought the merge had been successful and went back the the house, but I accidentally clicked "Just Continue" when my Sim was still on the clipboard and she was deleted. I'd really like to get her back, so I was wondering if there's a way you can revert back to the game the last time Sims was opened, or any previous saved game.
 
Yes, as long as you dont save again after that happened bc you could turn off your comp. or laptop and reload it.. but if you did i dont believe there is a way to get it back. good luck and sorry to hear
