If I install EA download manager onto my TORRENTED ( illegal copy ) SIMS 3, will EA download manager pick up on it and mess with my game? I am using the retail version, the same version that you buy in the shops 
I vaugely remember hearing somwhere else that a game ( I think it was spore ( also devopled by Maxis ( Sims Makers ) ) ) disabled the play ( or somthing ) if you had a torrented copy. I would just like to know, so that I can open my game to patches. ( There is an aweful bug in which you can't speed up the clock, which renders the game allmost unplayable ). Thanks for reading this rather long question, and I just hope you guys have top notch answers. If you can give a little bit of explaination, rather than just yes it will screw it or no it won't, I would be over the moon. I will give best answer to first person who gives me the answer, and who gives me good reason to belive it's true!
