Sims 2 Car Download Troubles?

I was on the Sims 2 / EA website and i downloaded an object - a car. I tried to put it in to one of my homes but it said that i needed a driveway. I have only got Sims 2, Sims 2 Open for Business, Sims 2 Pets and Sims 2 Seasons. The description of the Ford Focus that I got said that you only needed Sims 2 to be able to use it but it won't work!!

Help?????
