Simpsons Movie on Blueray

I saw the Simpsons Movie for sale on Blueray today...

Does it really make any difference if it's in High Definition Blueray or standard DVD? It's just animation isn't it?!
 
I havent seen it on DVD, however it does look luscious compared to skyonc, very smooth and colourful on Blu-ray, no real extras though, it certailny doesnt push the the technology or anything, but it does look good.
 
Turns out I got it for Christmas on DVD too! I wouldn't be suprised if it was in the top 10 presents this year... I also bought a copy for my Dad and my friend.
