Well for breakfast you can have oatmeal. Super simple and easy. I usually put about a cup of oatmeal in a gallon Ziploc bag with some brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins, cranberries, and a pinch of salt. boil up some water roll the ba down to make a bowl adn eat it right out of the Ziploc, no mess simple. Or you can just have granola bars, pop tarts, or some cereal in a Ziploc.
Lunch- I usually just have a dried sausage or pepperoni with some cheese. Hard cheeses stay good for upto a week, even in the summer. the trick is that you cant touch the cheese with your fingers bc the oils break down the cheese. So keep it in its plastic and cut off what you are going to eat. Sure it`ll get a little soft but it wont melt. nagged lunch is usually normal on the first day, quick and easy.
Dinner- You can keep it simple or you can go all out. For the simpletons I`d say stick with Rice or Pasta. The Rice-a-roni stuff is ok if you want a flavored rice or you can get the boil bags of rice. Heat up some sauce throw some meat on the grill- chicken, beef, sausage and you got yourself a quick easy meal. A stew over egg noodles or rice is also real easy, just cut and prep everything before hand put them in ziplocks throw them in the pot and you have stew. Let it simmer for a couple of hours and you`ll be stuffed for the rest of the night. I like to go with Shish kabobs over an open fire. Again prep them at home chicken, beef, lamb, shrimp- whatever you like throw on some green and red peppers some cherry tomatoes and some onion. I prefer the wooden skewers so you can just thrw them into the fire when your done. Clean up is minimal- the grill which can be self cleaned if you leave it on hot coals.
After dinner snack i like to get the pillsbury crescent rolls fill it with some apple pie filling throw it into an aluminum foil pocket with a wad of butter a little brown sugar, cinnamon and throw it onto the coals flip after a few minutes (the foil pocket not you) you`ll be all set.
