It worked for my pitted acne scars. But I used it in conjunection with Epidermx microdermabrasion. I can't attribute all my results to the oil but a large part I would think. A couple of other posters on this boarRAB have had similar results but I don't seem to see them post here any more.
One thing I have never mentioned here is that there used to be a small hole (I forgot what caused it) in the middle of my right cheek - it didn't look like the other pitted acne scars I had and didn't look as bad, but still very noticeable. I never paid much attention to it because I was more conscious of getting rid of my bad pitted scars first. Now after a few years using these products, that small hole has completely filled in. I don't know exactly when it disappeared but the fact is it's no longer there.
