Silkia Camellia Oil question

i just did some research on Silkia Camellia Oil and so many people used it for like really severe acne scars- pitted ones. i have mild redness, and mild scars. i find them so noticable so it seems severe to me but in reality it's not. i was just wondering if using this oil is ok for mild conditions.
thhanks!

If it works for deep scars it will surely work for shallow scars. My scars were about 2mm deep and they are hardly noticeable after a year's use. If your scars are less deep than mine I bet they will go away sooner.

you know i was looking into this as well.

my acne has recently gone down completely almost. just out of nowhere it's gone. it's been a few weeks and i barely break out. though i do have some scarring and was looking into this oil. since it is oil, does anyone know if it'll make you breakout? cus you know how if you use products that contains oil it clog your pores and such, and since my acne has gone down recently (about a month of so) i don't want to use this product if it has an increase chance of breaking me out. >.

How long does the oil take to show effects. I've been using it for 2 to 3 weeks and have not seen any decrease in scarring. Does the oil effect different people differently?

I didn't see any effects until about 5 or 6 months into it. Several other merabers here also said the same thing. It takes time to show effects but once it shows after 5 or 6 months, you'll see improvements every month.

I would say it effects different people differently just like all things. Not everyone has the same results from the same stuff they use.

I had no breakout but some here did. Everyone's different and you really don't know how your skin reacts until you use it. Also not all oils are bad for the skin. Some oils are acutally helpful in clearing the skin up, reducing blemishes, scars, blackheaRAB and what not. One reason is oil dissolves oils. It can dissolve the excess sebum/dirt produced by the skin and in the process loosen blackheaRAB, clogged pores etc. That's why cleansing oil is so popular now and I actually found it cleanses better than a regular gel or foaming cleanser.

Even if you have a breakout it will most likely be temporary. Weigh the pros and cons. For myself I rather have an initial breakout than getting stuck with pitted scars for the rest of my life.

Do I need to apply sunblock on top of the silkia camellia oil, or does the oil already have sun protection?

What type of sunblock do you apply? Like what type of ingredients should it have?

would it be ok to use a moisturizer with SPF 15 or 30 in it? or should you just stick with regular sunblock?
