Hello everyone, this is my first forum post so don't be too hard on me
I started using silicone baking molds while living in Europe nearly 20 years ago. Back then it was actually difficult to find a 'bad' brand.
Not so today.
Many of the top names in bakeware have become so corporate minded in terms of profits, that quality has really gone down hill. I've never been one to follow name brands but rather follow quality.
A few months back, I was invited to a silicone bakeware house party. The first thing I noticed was the weight. Few are making silicone bakeware today even slightly firm. These molds (I purchased a few to start) were firmer than other molds I had been using. These worked very well. I never promote any brand and won't start here.
Just want those who have had poor results using silicone not to give up.
Research and try many different brands.
