signal vanishes

Hi All
Thanks for any help you can give

Have just bought a 3G 16Gig Iphone 3.1.2 Modem 05.11.07
When you first put a chip in (any chip) it works fine for 2 minutes then the signal disappears the phone has been jailbroken and unlocked

Ant help would be appreciated

Can you call/text during the 2 minutes where the handset has signal?

If not can you PM me the IMEI and i will check to see if the unit has been blacklisted.

Also yoda67, what SW version, baseband etc is the handset? ALso what version iPhone?
 
Can you PM me the IMEI of the handset and i will make sure it isnt Blacklisted. We might aswell rule this out now rather than later.

The phone works fine in the first 2 minns i can make and receive calls no problem.
I bought the phone from some one in the UK i am now back in Spain

yes there is a problem after jailbreak 3gs 3.1.3 BB 5.12.1 with spirit and unlock with ultrasn0w there is signal problem the only time i have good signal is when i put the original sim in the phone but no signal on other carrier sim........what i want to do is jailbreak with another software other than spirit and see if it solve the problem.....but is there another jailbreak software for 3gs 3.1.3 BB 5.12.1 bootloader 6.04??

Unit isn't barred, have you tryed updating to a custom 4.0 image, with Jailbreak and Unlock applied? That might sort your problem out.

Hi Sam Thanks for the reply could you give me a clue what a custom 4.0 image is? I am quite new to this iphone thing.
