Hello Everybody!

I have a Siemens SXG75, and a direct link USB cable to connect it to computer, (direct link I mean there is no any chip inside this cable), but the drivers of this is only for WIN2k, XP etc.
I must use it on Win98, and when I try to install it, system recognize device, but not installing new ports like on XP, and I can't connect to my phone.
My problem is that I can use only Win98.
If Somebody know how fix this please save my live
Thanks for any answers.

Best regards.

you can install least version mpm ,the drive can be auto install for your dca 540 data cable.

Ok, if this will work it will be the best day of my live, but where I can find this mpm??
Do You have a link????

I have the same problem as well.

Don't work. Newest mpm does not install on w98 at all. Older mpm does install, but does not include drivers for SXG75. Drivers for SXG75 are specyfic - this phone works only with DCA-540 and have other drivers than other x75 (VID 11f5 PID 0005). Drivers for it are included in 3gSwup or in Java Midlet Installer - but these drivers do not work in win98. They install ok, but in Device Manager they do not have any COM ports set. Of course in W2k everything works fine without problems. I wonder if anybody use this phone and win98.

Heloo all,
in attachemment you have DCA140/540 drivers for the all windows operating systems. Only one sugestion about your problem. You need to use this driver only on the Windows98 Second Edition operating system (because this version recognize USB ports). About the phone manager, use the MOBILedit! v2.0 software (working on Win98 SE).Download from: http://rapidshare.com/files/28889946/MOBILedit-2.3.0.14.rar
