i went to the doctors today because i am feeling very congested and slightly dizzy.the doctor said i have a viral upper respitory infection and that i should take some otc decongestants. but then on the discharge form i saw a note that appears to read, flu ortho or maybe optho or ortro. what does that mean? i dont have the chills or a fever nor am i having diarreah or vomiting. so it cant be the flu right??? im really scared about being sick because of the h1n1 flu virus. if the doctor thought i had the flu wouldnt they have told me? i dont understand why that note was written.

These days doctors sometimes put various things as diagnosis in order for the insurance to cover.

I saw things on my paper I did not have and questioned when I checked out. I later asked the doctor if it was for insurance purpose only and he said yes.
