Sick of my Sidekick

I have a Sidekick 3... I get 50% of the text messages that are sent to me and my calls drop a lot... thinking about paying the early cancellation fee and ditching T-Mobile and this crappy Sidekick.

I was wondering what you guys recommend as far as a service provider and phone? I'm too used to a QWERTY keyboard to give it up... but if there is a good enough phone I'd learn to not depend on QWERTY anymore.

I browse the web a lot... so fast speeds would be a plus. I send a ton of text messages... so I hope the network is fast/reliable. I used to own an MDA and hated Windows Mobile, but I think it's just because the phone was so slow.

Any suggestions?
 
You need to get a cingular 8525. It is the grown up version of the sidekick. It has 5-10 times faster web browsing, and fantastic keyboard, and thousands of great and powerful software titles. If you want to stay with Tmobile, try the MDA. It is what I use, and I love it, it is my constant companion, It has good texting, amazing push email, even nice IM applications. Give either of those devices a try, and you will never go back to plain old phones again.
 
If you didn't like the Microsoft OS, maybe you would like the Nokia e62 on cingular, or the unlocked version the e61, they have a qwerty and Symbian is a pretty nice OS, but they dont have a camera.
 
I'm wondering if I should get the Dash or the Pearl now...

I like them both, I guess it just comes down to whatever has the most features?

My main problem with the Sidekick is that I only get half the text messages sent to me, I get the other half the next day usually! My MDA never had this problem!
 
You can go to a T-Mobile store and play around with a live Dash and live Pearl to see which one you like the best. The Pearl uses suretype and the Dash has a full qwerty keyboard. Other than that they both have the same capabilities, but the Dash can play more video and music formats than the pearl.
