Siamese Fighting Fish Feeder?

I have one siamese fighting fish in a small non-filtered about one-and-a-half litre tank. We are going away for four days and I have an automatic fish feeder. It is shaped like a crab and is recommended for 7 days for a 10-15 gallon tank. That is a 37 litre tank aquarium. I don't know how much food it dissolves. I do not want my fish to be overfed. I want to know if it makes my tank cloudy. I also want to know whether I can cut off a bit and put it in or will it dissolve from the inside really quickly?
Please answer it is important
 
A fish is fine without food for up to a week. Just feed before you leave. You have more chance of killing your fish via one of those silly feeders then not feeding it for four days.

Ps. You tank is way to small. Get it a min of 5 gals heated and filtered if you want it to live for 5+yrs.
