Hi there back buddies, here I am again. I have been seeing a pain specialist for the last few months and trial error medications and injections. The list goes on... I am wondering if there are others here that can try to help me out? My pm dr. just did and SI injection yesterday, we have tried all the biggies and there was talk of a RHizotomy and then a simulater type pain reliever being installed, sorry this is going to be kinda long. Anyway, when i had the injection yesterday he said he wants to cover all bases that is if it's something bigger okay but he wants to cover anything that could be minor, in wich i totally agree, i dont want something extreme if it doesn't need to be right! So he was going to do an injection in my Piriformis muscle? I have read up some on this and it could be something so easy compared anything else but he also mentioned that i could as far as my foot pain ect. have hurt the bone or whatnot up higher in my leg because when he pressed on the outer area of my upper thigh it hurts alot, and i reminded him that way back when i fell it was very painful ect. and i had my hip only i believe exrayed and it came back fine, i forgot the nerve term he mentioned for this, but anyway i am wondering i guess if anyone had a bad SI joint and had an injection and have it kick it in to overdrive? I mean i almost fell getting out of the car? And it is better this am but it's like he irritated the he^^ out of it, but it's wierd as that any injection he has done seemed to irritate this area as well but i dont feel to this extreme. So please let me know your experiences and give me a refresher! I have been mentally well just living the high life as best i can because i just think about all the good and i have joined a bunch of support groups to help get along! i hope everyone is doing okay!
