Hi guys I am new to the bike world and I have a 99 GSX 600. I cant figure out which way the fuel shut off is. The bike has been painted and the label is gone can anyone help so I kno what is reserve, off and on
I respectfully suggest you visit a dealer and order a user's manual.
Hopefully some one else familiar with that model can give you an answer.
There really IS/WAS a label?? Most bike I've seen have it stamped into the face behind the lever......and some levers have an arrow on it. Might want to look a little closer.....with some extra light.
I belive it has a vacume type fuel tap with three positions same as the 1991 model gsx600f I have and i dont think they changed it too much from 98 on. Think it was more cosmetic Changes.
Pos 1 Prime ( free flowing fuel ) tap pointing to the rear of motorcycle.
Pos 2 Is main ( or on ) tap pionting straight down
Pos 3 Is reserve tap pointing forwards
