I had this removed a while back and saved the 2$. Latest bill shows it has been put back on (and I don't get the magazine).

Has their policy changed? Or, because of my recent changes to equipment did the magazine magically find its way back on my account and I have to call again to have it removed.

it reappeared on my last bill also. Looks like another call to bell coming up.

Had to call/write to them a few times but finally they removed the charge. Still going back and forth with them about my land line credits they had promised me in writing several months ago.

I wish there was an easy way to cancel all my subscriptions (Internet, TV and land line) all at once and move to one of their competitors. They are getting me frustrated enough that I may just choose to do it anyway.

This happened to me too, so I called. The CSR said they were getting a lot of calls about it, and that it was a mistake this month. She applied for a $2 credit. I also asked her to remove the magazine entirely from my account. She said she would do that but that it was likely to reappear in future months due to my programming package. What an environmentally-unfriendly policy. It goes directly into my recycling bin.

All clients that have 5 theme packs or more get the magazine FREE

You see a 2$ CHARGE, and further a 2$ CREDIT

If you call to get it remove agent has o try to save the downgrade by telling you that the magazine is free, that it's part of your package, ect...

If client insist, then the downgrade should be done...

BEV NEVER automatically adds an item to all clients accounts. The agent who told you it might get automatically readded to our account lied to you. He probably told you so cause he didn't want to take a 2$ downgrade that might affect his bonus. Often when you call EV about any reason agent might add it (with the credit) to have a 2$ upgrade. Agent is supposed to avise you he did, but i'e seen so many agents not telling the client, but getting the 2$ upgrade in their stats.

When I was fired they were taking about changing the sales bonus and include a rule that say client must keep the item for a minimum of 3 months before we calculate it in your stats. If he doesn't then it doesn't count for your sats. Don't know if they did it, but that would be good. That way people will stop tryng to sell just about everything, and will make sure they sell something that client would keep

Agent, the $2 charge is there but the Credit is missing on my Bill.

On my neighbors, he had successfully canceled the magazine and it's delivery, this month he is being charged $2 AND got the magazine again, no Credit.

Looks like someone restored an old back-up of Data and screwed up....

Not Agent, but Ex Agent...
There was lots of issues of credits not been applied when I worked there, so i'm not surprised you didn't get the credit

How does he know that it was succesfully removed? Was it because he was told by the agent? Or because for a few months he didn't receive it and wasn't charged? If he didn't get it for a few months and wasn't charged, has he recently called, for any reason to EV? As I mentionned before agents will often had it when client has 5 themes to get the 2$ upgrade for their stats. They are supposed to inform the client, but lots of them don't

He knew it was removed successfully removed because they stopped sending it to him.!!!

He has NOT called Express Vu for over 4 months.

Then it is possible that it was automatically added by the system... They can not have a system that doesn't have the Dish Care options for clients in BC since they can not suscribe to it, but their system is good enought to go find who doesn't get the magazine and add it for them, strange!

Exact same thing happened to me last month, actually. I'm supposed to get the magazine for free, so normally you see the $2 charge and then a separate $2 credit on each bill. They decided to stop applying the credit for some reason last month, I had to call and get them to give me the credit on the next (this) month's bill. I had little confidence they wouldn't do the same thing again this month, but it appears to be okay again.

Must be some billing mistake related to applying the Jan. increases or something - or maybe it's Bell's way of implementing negative option billing, which is illegal, of course. How many people will even notice the extra $2, esp. if it shows up at the same time as the general price increase.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but...

Regards,
Ken

That is what I used to see; except this month the credit was missing.

That is exactly what happened when I called today. I insisted that I don't want it, and I don't want to pay for it. The CSR said it would be removed.

It reappeared for me back in November. Problem was the credit was never $2. It was 58 cents, then 60 cents, then nothing. I had to call them three times in total about it and on the third call just over a week ago I got a $20 credit for all my trouble. Whether that credit actually arrives is another matter.

Me too.

On my November bill, I was charged $2 for the magazine, and my normal $2 credit did not appear. I reported this to them by phone, and was told that my next bill would refund the $2, and I would no longer be charged for the magazine.

On my December bill, I received a $0.33 credit, and was again charged $2 for the magazine. I reported his to them by phone, and was told that my next bill would refund the $3.67, and that I would no longer be charged for the magazine.

On my January bill, I received a $3.67 credit, and was again charged $2 for the magazine. Arggggg!

It's really starting to look like this is a deliberate scam.

Got my bill a few days ago and the $2 credit was finally applied correctly. Magazine was free as it should be. I also received the $20 credit they promised.
