Shows you hated but later liked.

I used to hate Ed, Edd n Eddy when it first came on, but eventually it hooked me in and became one of my favorite cartoons of all time.

I use to dislike Total Drama Island and Johnny Test plus Jimmy Two-Shoes and then two (or three months) later, they became my favorite shows currently. This also happened with Chowder cause back then I thought the show would be weird but it is hilarious now. Too bad it's done in production.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Mainly because of that first episode.

Chowder: Used to think it was stupid, and now I kinda like it. Same for Flapjack.

For me its Pepper Ann. I guess I didn't hate it, but it was my least favorite of the One Saturday Morning shows. It wasn't until I got Toon Disney I started liking it.

Yeah me too. The original commercials for it made it look very unappealing

Same here for Ed Edd n Eddy, never watched it as a kid.

I also never was into Spider-Man: TAS until I saw it on Disney XD,
the same goes for Static Shock.

When I first saw Johnny Test on Kids WB, I thought that it was the single stupidest show on the air, but after I watched it again (in reruns) on Cartoon Network, I gained a new found appreciation for the series. I don't love it, mind you (ironically, my least favorite character on Johnny Test is Johnny himself, but the rest of the cast, I like), but Test is an OK show in small doses.

Yugioh GX.
Because when it was first introduced, i had not ever seen the very first episode before. Was something else, i just can't remember what, but i would think that it was some kind of big rip-off of the original Yugioh done by some other company or something.

I just did not know for awhile, so i did not like GX, but eventually i did learn finally, and quickly gained intrest intstantly by about the time the 2nd season started with that sotorius guy, by then i was in love with this series as much as the original yugioh. :)
This was years ago

Dragon Ball Z for me. When I first watched some of it I thought that it was really stupid and just about over powered men that looked constipated all of the time.

I watched the original Dragon Ball and enjoyed it and then I gave DBZ an actual chance and enjoyed it. Although now I can see its real flaws.

At first i didn't like Courage The Cowardly Dog, The Powerpuff Girls, Total Drama Island because I thought these show were horrible to watch, now I really enjoy them. It has really nice joke and motivation.

Flapjack... I remember seeing the last 30 seconds of the sneak peeks they aired in early 2008 prior to new episodes of Foster's. My first impression was that it was quite possibly the vilest, most disgusting thing I've ever seen from a children's network, and that Cartoon Network had actually managed to sink even lower than I could've ever imagined.

But eventually, I broke down and caught a rerun some months after it premiered. The segments I watched were OK, but it took me a few more reruns before I looked past the grotesque designs and began to discover the true comedic brilliance of the show.

I used to HATE Total Drama Island, but then I lost the remote while watching 6teen, and the episode with Chef doing the recap came on afterwards.
And that got me interested, because Chef Hatchet is awesome.

I'm really starting to appreciate The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, or rather, certain episodes of it. "Keeper of the Reaper" and the one where Mandy enters the beauty contest are sheer comedy genius, and the specials "Big Boogey Adventure" and "Underfist" are terrific. But while the show was still being produced, you couldn't pay me to watch it.

I'm also starting to notice the inventive animation of Ed, Edd and Eddy. Although it's still kind of tough to look at.

I avoided The Spectacular Spiderman because there have been some really craptacular animated versions of the superhero. But lately I've gotten into it. It's got a very spare design, but it's solid, and the writing is above par.

And Futurama is growing on me. I just saw "Wild Green Yonder" tonight, and I like it even better than "Bender's Big Score". I'm looking forward to the new episodes. I'm convinced now that the show deserves a second chance.

I use to not be able to sit through an episode of Stoked but after watching the latest episode on Cartoon Network, I found a liking to the show. I also noticed that the animation and characters are more appealing to me than 6Teen. I also hated Star Wars: The Clone Wars when it first premiered on Cartoon Network but after watching reruns on [adult swim] I started to enjoy it.

It feels like iv'e mentioned this quite a few times on this board, but anyway, i was never really into Inspector Gadget as a kid, yet for some reason i now really dig the show.

Chowder and Flapjack annoyed me at first, but I warmed up to the both of them once I watched them in a marathon one Sunday last year....now I love them! Another show would be TMNT BTTS, at first I was totally against it and thought it was stupid and then I finally came around after an episose where Casey proposed to April.......lol.
