I'm not much into helmets other than they meet some crash rating somewhere and hopefully are cheap as hell but last weekend while doing a high speed pass of a transport I had the visor up and it ripped clean off! I've already lost two contacts trying to make due with sunglasses in the broken one and wearing a size too large spare i've got kicking around. I'm doing a road trip before I have to leave for work (no more biking for a while) and will shop around. I'm thinking HJC carbon at this point but that will depend on what doesn't give me a raging head ache from the jaw crush. Something about shopping for a helmet bothers me.

No doubt it has to be another version of SR's helmet. Ive just never seen graphics go from one brand to another. Most likely since it was a Troy Lee Designs graphic that allowed it to transfer to another brand. My guess anyway.
 
Yep, I seen that one earlier in my search today as well. I also found this site, Austrian I think..selling the same one I have. Odd since they stopped making them years ago.

The Gunwind is no longer made. But I love it. Great Fit.
Just be carefull with the Pivot Cover Plates when changing visors.
The three pins that click those into place sometimes break, and there are no Cover Plates to be found anymore...
 
Ok, I broke down and bought another one. Aside from one Aria this one fit me best. Blew a whopping whole 90 Bucks Canadian on it. So far the graphics don't bother me too much.
