Show me your drink holders

Made an aluminum plate, covered it with black Naugahyde and added snaps. I wouldn't trust the OEM cover or want to ruin it either. The snaps hold it pretty good. Never had a problem.

On my way to Sturgis in '08 I went thru Nevada and the heat dehydrates you before you know it. I drank a lot of water to keep my mind clear.

I bought a leather drink holder at a bike show for $10. It is the style that has a flap that is made to go around your handlebars. I cut off the flat, drilled a door on my lower and pop riveted it to the door. It has held up since may with no problems.

I miss it when I take my lowers off in the heat of the summer, but I couldn't see spending lots of money on the handlbar mount holder. Sorry, no pics.

If you are intersted in seeing pics PM me and I will snap one and sent it to you.

BeemerVet, Love your cupholder. Would love one of my own. Are they available in other colors? Also, I see three cups in the photo but only two holders. :-)

I have two from Larry at www.capt-itch.com

Larry makes great leather products....I have traded machining work for his goods...both bike and firearm leather products....Awsome dude!!

He has cup holders for bars, crash bars, windshields....belts, holsters, crotch coolers....Take a look at his stuff.

I didn't do anything special with the snaps. They just stay on there. I think because the weight is side to side on them they hold it just fine.

I use a Kruzer Caddy http://www.kruzerkaddy.net/ but I drilled and tapped the thing so I could make it solid instead of the annoying swivel mount.

I just noticed on their web site that the new Kruzer Caddy can be mounted so it doesn't swivel, a welcome change.
