Shouldn't The Customers Money Be Honored?

GARY I

I don't use all the minutes I pay to use. They do not honor "rollover." Does anyone else agree or think they should give credit for minutes not used? I mean they charge a lot for any additional minutes used. I don't live on my phone 24/7, so I think they should credit me for minutes not used if they r going to bill me for overage.

That's not how a contract service agreement works. You agree to pay a set amount of dollars per month, VZW agrees to give you a set amount of minutes per month for the dollars you pay. If you go over, you pay, under, your loss.

You can have what you want--if you want to pay only for what you use, get a prepaid phone.

I did the pre-paid thing and Cingular charges $1.00 a dayand.$0.10 per minute for use, so ievery two weeks I had to buy another $30.00 card, the contract was cheaper by those standards, but if I don't use minutes they should credit my contract for saving their network. Do u work for them? That is their contract, let me add my own contract into their contract?

You say it's THEIR contract. Once you agree to it it's YOUR contract too. Without you AND them, there is not contract--you have to have two parties. You can always try to negotiate with them--let us know how you do with that. :D

No, I don't work for a wirless carrier. Cingular/AT&T has rollover minutes, why didn't you stay with them?

Was I not clear, $60.00 /mnth, for calls I rarely made. Like I said, I do not live on the phone and their rollover does not apply to prepaid. They will not negotiate, I've brought this up to their agents, and they think since I am the only one that wants a different "deal," I am in the wrong.
It's my contract if they let me agree with them, but I have to sign it to use their phone. It would be our contract if they would not make me sign a standard contract.

There are cheaper plans. If 450 minutes is enough, you can get that for $40 per month...

I was being facetious, sorry.

Clearly we're on two different planes with this--but that's OK.
Hope you can find a plan to suit you.

I'm not asking for advice on what contract is best for me, I am just in disagreement with their plan for everybody as if we all have the same budget. Prepaid sounds good, but the better deals r for contracts. I had a girlfriend screw my credit with every phone, but verizon. That was my first prepaid, but they would not allow me to see the roaming coverage for my calls, not their calls. So, u see it is their contract with my credit at stake.
Verizon is a good plan, but I just disagree with minutes I lose, and extra minutes they charge. I mean, I paid for those minutes, I think they should not be held "hostage" for any length of time.

If you dont like their contract, go with a different carrier.

We all think it would be nice if they let us keep our unused minutes, but they do not. We all knew that when we signed our contracts with them. No one made you sign a contract that did not include rollover minutes.

I wish they had the everything plan for a good price like AT&T, or sprint, but they do not. I wish they had free incoming, and rollover, but they do not. If these features ment that much to me i would have just went with a carrier that had them.
